Karen Pilosof is a hybrid fibre artist whose work explores nature, memory, motherhood, and the landscape through layered textile techniques. Much of that memory is informed by childhood summers exploring Georgian Bay islands with her family on nomadic sailing expeditions. Rooted in the traditions of women's work, her practice examines resilience, loss, and feminist strength.
Karen graduated with a BFA from OCAD University, in Sculpture & Installation and lives in Mulmur, Ontario.
